![]() ![]() Longer range than pistols and faster firing than ARs, but have less range than an AR and a smaller magazine. They are a Sniper-Pistol Hybrid.Ī recently added type of weapon, they are a hybrid of ARs and pistols. Subcategory: Revolvers & Hand Cannons - Revolvers and Hand Cannons are pistols that deal a lot of damage per shot and have a way longer range, but a significantly slower rate of fire. Short-Medium range weapons that have great DPS and a very fast rate of fire (damage per second) but a smaller magazine. ![]() Subcategory: Automatic Shotguns - Fast firing, larger magazine shotguns that don't deal as much damage per single shot, but they have a very fast rate of fire. Short Range weapons with small magazines that can deal enormous damage from up close. Subcategory: Light Machine Guns (LMGs) - Weapons with a magazine size of 100+ that shoot very quickly but also shred through ammo. Weapons of medium range that have a decently large magazine and can deal respectable amounts of damage. There are six ranged weapon classes in Save the World, similarly to many other games (including the Battle Royale version of Fortnite) You can change the perk on a weapon with "RE-PERK", and upgrade the perks from Common all the way to Legendary using Common to Legendary versions of PERK-UP, found in missions and in the item shop. You obtain a weapon with the first perk unlocked, then (as showcased in the first image) unlock the next perks at level 5,10,15,20 and 25 respectively. And that's why it's important to modify your schematics and explore the possiblities with each weapon. Without those perk changes and upgrades, you would just have an average shotgun. ![]() ![]() And when using a hero like Buckshot Raptor (collection book lvl 100 reward), who has the ability to increase shotgun critical damage by 225% when used in the commander slot, you can get a weapon hitting about 7 times as hard as its regular damage half of the time. That means that by using this weapon, almost half your shots will hit 4 times as hard. Why is that positive? As you can see on the stats on the left, it has a 40% critical chance and when it hits it allows for 440% the amount of damage it would regularly do. It has the unique ability of allowing the player to input 3 perks of Critical Damage, as showcased above. This is a shotgun called "Stalwart Squire" (event weapon). Some weapons work better with some perks, and some others have unique attributes that allow for special perks. They start off at a very basic level, but can be upgraded or changed. When obtaining a new weapon, there's a "perks" tab next to its stats. Schematics never get used up and disappear, unless you delete them yourself. A schematic (blueprint) gives you the option to craft the weapon using crafting materials you find in missions so you can make a new one. What's a schematic, and what's the difference if I have it in my inventory?Ī weapon in a player's inventory is losing durability the more you use it, and eventually, it is going to break. This usually happens to items from old events and they are usually added all together. Expansion weapons are event weapons that became part of the base game. An event item is a exclusive item which can only be obtained during a specific event (most event weapons have returned a year after their initial release, but they were still exclusive back when they came out). What's the difference?īase Game weapons are those who are available at all times to any player that joins. So, in light of the recent contest, I have decided to put together a short (who am I kidding, it's pretty long and detailed) list of my favorite base game (+ expansion) weapons. I've been playing for a little over a year and a half now, and I can decidedly say that I've played Soldier in 90% of my missions. Crowd control abilities, significant damage buffs and space to improvise with creative loadouts instead of looking for the perfect stats so that you can maximize ability efficiency. And the second is to rely heavily on your hero's abilities and synergies with your loadout. Have a trustworthy, go-to set of guns you can use to get you out of any situation. The first, is to base your gameplay around your weapons. And, even after a few hours of playing, you can easily choose which one you want to follow. There are two ways to play Save the World. ![]()
